It seems as though Summer may finally be making an appearance in London town! Typically, I can be a little tentative when wearing bright colours here at home and reserve anything that is not black, blue or grey to the ‘holiday wardrobe’. To combat this, I have started to wear a lot of whites (lookbook coming soon) and nudes and then adding a splash of colour to give my outfit a ‘Summer in the City’ type vibe.
For a day to night catch up with the girls I opted for all white with a Persian Blue blazer by Nasty Gal (they only have orange left) and my trusty McQueen silk scarf. I also got to christen my beloved Valentino Rockstuds – quite possible the most comfortable heel ever made.

I do love a good jean/ blazer/ heel combo. Definitely my go to outfit when I’m feeling undecided about what to wear. It’s so easy and comfortable, yet simple and sophisticated without trying. Was especially nice on this occasion because my weight has been fluctuating of late (I can’t seem to maintain the same dress size longer than 6 weeks), and as a result, I haven’t been feeling as confident in my clothes as usual. I particularly love this blazer as it is long enough to cover my ever expanding derriere, but is still nicely fitted around the waist. You will be seeing a lot more of me in this blazer – Considering grabbing the coral version too!
