Having worked as a Louis Vuitton sales assistant in the past, I still retain the same fanaticism and excitement about the brand all these years later. The brilliance of Vuitton lies within the core strands of tradition, heritage and craftsmanship. From these 3 strands, Vuitton has been able to build an iconic fashion empire. Working as a LV shop girl, I had the privilege of learning the secrets of the brand as well as going behind the scenes to witness first hand how the brand operates as both a business and an art form. You may sneer, but Louis Vuitton and its connections to the art world are more common than you think. In fact, the London flagship store houses a mini book/ art store featuring exclusive artistic collaborations the brand has either been involved in or champion. Louis Vuitton have always encouraged and nurtured the development of the arts, especially in its Parisian home town, and last year opened a foundation dedicated to this.

The Louis Vuitton Series 3 exhibition follows on from SERIES 1 and SERIES 2, and invites you to discover Nicolas Ghesquière’s inspirations for his fourth ready-to-wear show as the Artistic Director for women’s collections at Louis Vuitton.

The exhibition will be open from September 21st to October 18th, 2015.
